About

I like to travel. That’ a good thing, because my bride does even more!  I have been fortunate to travel in my job and visit a couple of dozen countries. We have an RV and have touched all the lower 48 states. With all our travels, to quote Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, there is no place like home!

I work with, teach with, and am married to my best friend. She happens to be beautiful, so God blessed us with three good looking kids. All three are turning out far better then I could ever have imagined. We go to a great church where we worship the only true super hero, Jesus Christ. It still blows my mind that He “shoved me out of the way and took my death sentence”!

I have many precious friends that don’t accept Him for Who He really is. Some of them are Jewish, others are Muslim, a few are Hindu, and still others are Agnostic or Atheist. Some of them will tell me He was a good moral man. Others will even say He was a good prophet. My prayer is they discover who He really was…this side of the grave.

I love how C.S.Lewis put it. In Mere Christianity, he makes a profound logical argument.

“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic – on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg – or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse.”

“You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.”
